Laser SB3 East Coast Championship

Two boats from the club traveled down to the Laser SB3 East Coast Championship hosted by the Royal Irish YC in Dub Laoghaire last weekend (4/5 July).
Bullet (Bullet, T D'Arcy/S Hutchinson/S Atkinson) finished 7th and Outlaw (G Pollard/A McClernon/I Patterson) finshed 14th in the 36 boat fleet

Strangford Lough Race Weekend

A few boats went down from the club to compete in Strangford Lough Race Weekend.
Arawak was 7th, and Dragon Lady 10th in PY2
S.K.I was 1st in IRC1 and won the overall prize for the weekend.

Virtual Volvo Ocean Race

Now that the Virtual Volvo Ocean Race has finished (finally!), were there any other members playing that weren't in the CSC group in the game? Let us know so that we can work out a final set of internal club results and see if we can come up with some sort of virtual prize...

Club Draw

The first Draw will be on Saturday evening at 9.00pm. Any Member who has made a purchase through the Club till can deposit their named receipt in the Draw Box.
First Prize £50 credited to your Club Card.
Second Prize £25 credited to your Club Card.
Third Prize £10 credited to your Club Card.
The prize will be doubled up if the winners are present i.e. £100, £50 and £20

British Grand Prize Live on the Big Screen

The British Grand Prix will be shown on the Big Screen in the club this Sunday 21st June. Coverage starts at 12:10

Portpatrick Gathering

There will be a gathering in Portpatrick this coming weekend for the cruisers among you. For the racers among you Royal Ulster Yacht Club’s Annual Regatta with a complimentary Regatta tea for visiting yachtsmen.

There will be a work party on Monday evening 01 June from 7:00pm to move trailers and a general tidy prior to the Classic Sail Regatta on 05 / 07 June.
