To receive a detailed report of the Club’s financial position and the implications for the Club whether successful in the bid or not.

Saturday Autumn Series for Dinghies

Saturday sailing is taking a step forward into what will be the Saturday Autumn series.
This is an open event for all dingys, i.e lasers, toppers mirrors, hobies, whatever floats. We already have a lot of interest from of topper sailors in our own club and possibly some visitors from whitehead. Belfast Lough Sailability have been invited to join in with their own access dinghys, as have the Carrickfergus Sea Cadets.
Rory and Leigh will be starting and finishing the races on the water on Saturday. We have great help from two of the juniors, Ashley Ward and Garth Skelton, who turn up nearly every weekend to provide rescue cover. We always need two safety boats out on the water during the Autumn Series and each boat needs a helper as well as a driver so extra help is needed. If anyone can spare 2 hours of their time on Saturday mornings, please contact me on 07832118576 or email training@carrickfergussc.org
We would like to get as many participants on the water as we can, so please spread the word that dinghy racing is happening at Carrickfergus Sailing Club this Autumn.
Racing starts this weekend Sat 12th September, 11am first gun.

Autumn Series

Notice of Race and Entry Forms are now available for the Autumn Series. Racing for Toppers and other Dinghies will take place on Saturday mornings starting on the 12th September. Flying 15, Sportsboat and Cruiser classes will race on Sundays as normal starting on the 13th September.

Ruffian Northern Ireland Championship

Notice of Race and Entry Forms are now available for the Ruffian Northern Ireland Championship being held on Saturday 12th September. The Fleet are also holding their Annual Dinner that evening. Tickets can be purchsed online or from the fleet captain.
